Hosting Policy

Hosting is optional. Where we manage it, this is what you are paying for and what you are not.

What is included

• Hosting on the platform agreed at launch
• SSL certificate and renewal
• Uptime monitoring
• Platform and dependency updates where we control them
• Backups appropriate to the platform, and restoration if something goes wrong

What is not included

• Content changes, new pages or new features — quoted separately
• Third-party subscriptions such as booking systems, CRMs or email platforms
• Issues caused by changes made by others with access to the site

Accounts are yours

Hosting and domain accounts are registered in your name with you as the owner, even while we administer them. That is deliberate: it means you are never locked in, and nothing depends on us continuing to exist.

Moving away

If you want to move hosting elsewhere, tell us and we will hand over access and a written summary of the setup within 14 days. There is no exit fee and no notice period beyond the current billing month.

Availability

The platforms we use publish their own uptime commitments and we do not claim to better them. Where an outage is within our control, we fix it as a priority; where it is the platform's, we keep you informed and chase on your behalf.
