The project

Visit the site

Eiko Therapy is a multidisciplinary therapy practice working across south London, bringing occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and music therapists together under one roof. Founded and led by Melanie Akas, the practice supports children, adults and families across Croydon, Bromley, Greenwich, Blackheath, Richmond and Wandsworth, and won the Occupational Therapy Excellence Awards in 2026.

The brief

A practice offering three therapy disciplines plus medico-legal consultancy has a structural problem before anyone writes a word. A parent looking for paediatric occupational therapy, an adult seeking mental health support, a school arranging in-house sessions and a solicitor commissioning an independent report all arrive with different questions. Each of them needs to reach the right person quickly, and none of them should have to work out how the practice is organised internally first.

The site also had to carry the credibility clinical work depends on. HCPC registration, Royal College and British Association membership, NHS experience, local authority commissioning, insurance and DBS checks are the reason a family trusts a practice with their child. Those signals needed to be visible where people decide, rather than filed away on a policy page.

The approach

The website is organised around two questions rather than one: what do you need, and who is it for. Services and audiences run as separate routes through the same practice, so a visitor can arrive as a parent or arrive looking for speech and language therapy and reach the right place either way.

Every one of those routes ends at the same action. Referral is what the practice wants, so a single referral form is reachable from every page rather than sitting behind a general contact address, and the site says plainly that a GP or professional referral is not required first.

What we delivered

  • Four service sections: occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, music therapy, and medico-legal and consultancy
  • Separate routes for children, adults, families and professionals, each written for the question that audience actually arrives with
  • One referral form as the single conversion point, reachable from every page
  • Profiles for the whole clinical team, with each therapist's discipline and specialism
  • Registration and accreditation carried through the site rather than confined to an about page
  • Google reviews used as the testimonials, so the proof is verifiable
  • Answers to the questions that stop people enquiring: whether a referral is needed, where appointments happen, cost, and how quickly someone can be seen

The outcome

One website that serves a parent, an adult, a school and a solicitor without asking any of them to understand the practice before they can use it. The disciplines read as one team rather than four departments, which is the point Eiko makes about how it works, and the credentials that justify a referral sit in front of the person deciding to make one.

Thirty minutes, no charge. You will leave with an honest read on the problem and a clear recommendation, whether or not you work with us.
